Portfolio Valuation - Unit Value
Last updated: 1st July 2006
The chart below illustrates the Club's unit value (UV) since its
creation. The UV is a key measure for the club accounts and to a certain
extent performance. The UV reflects the purchase price of a Unit in the
club and is used to convert the members' monthly payments into Units.
The UV is calculated on a monthly basis. The UV is equal to the Nett
Asset Value of the Club divided by the number of units issued, and
was set to 100p when the club was started (July 2004).
The FTSE-100 and FTSE-350 indices are shown for comparison, rebased
to 100.0 on 14th October 2004, the day before the club commenced
trading.
